High School for Recording Arts is excited to announce that it has entered a contest that recognizes the accomplishment of young people receiving their driver’s license, and promotes safe teen driving. This State Farm sponsored Celebrate My Drive contest will give HSRA the opportunity to win a $100,000 grant. Our school will be competing against other high schools in the state of Minnesota and HSRA needs help collecting online votes beginning September 10. The contest will run through September 15 and participants are allowed to vote for HSRA once per day. The $100,000 grant would help the school with many opportunities to enhance the learning environment for the students on and off campus. More field trips, for example, would be available for our young people if the school wins the grant.
State Farm will be hosting a Celebrate My Drive event at Ridgedale Mall in Minnetonka on September 15 and all are welcome to attend. State Farm will be giving away prizes to teens between the ages of 15 and 18. All of the high schools that are in the contest will have a chance to participate in the event, and HSRA students will be performing a handful of songs that have been created to promote safe driving habits. “Like” the High School for Recording Arts Facebook page for more details about where you can go to vote for our school.
